Core Wounds: Rewiring the subconscious mind
7/29/20253 min read
Did you know that you once lived in your grandmother’s womb?
It might sound wild, but it’s true. A woman carries all the eggs she’ll ever have by the fifth month of pregnancy—meaning the egg that would one day become you was already within your mother while she was still growing inside your grandmother. That’s three generations intertwined in one sacred body.
This means that everything your grandmother felt, experienced, and endured—her fears, joys, and traumas—echoed into your cells. And it didn’t stop there. As you grew in your mother’s womb, you were tuned into the world around her. Her voice. Her stress. Her laughter. Her silence. You were absorbing it all.
And from birth until around age five, your brain lived mostly in the Theta brainwave state—a deeply suggestible, hypnotic state. It’s a time when your subconscious soaks up everything, forming the roots of your core beliefs and shaping how you see yourself, others, and life.
This is why doing shadow work and rewiring the subconscious in adulthood is so powerful—and necessary. It’s not about “fixing” yourself. You are not broken. It’s about gently peeling back the layers, meeting your inner child with compassion, and reclaiming the self beneath the conditioning—the Divine Self you’ve always been.
A Personal Note on the Path
When I first dove into shadow work, I carried the belief that I needed to be “fixed.” That I was somehow wrong or too much. I treated my inner work like a performance—critiquing, controlling, and pushing myself with conditional love.
But that only made the wounds deeper.
What changed everything was learning to approach healing with softness.
How to Begin with Love Instead of Force
🌿 Pause before the fixing.
Grieve first. Let yourself feel. Understand your patterns instead of rushing to erase them. They’ve served a purpose—even if you don’t know what that is just yet.
🌀 Write it out & Shake it out
Use journal prompts or free-write with no rules. Let it be messy. Let your body respond—cry, move, tremble, dance. Let your nervous system know it’s safe to express.
🧘🏽♀️ Connect with your inner child.
Visual meditations can be powerful here. Sit with her. Listen. Let her be seen. Tell her she’s loved and safe.
💧 Try Ho'oponopono.
This Hawaiian prayer of forgiveness and love is a balm for the soul. Try it in the mirror, looking into your own eyes. “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.”
💌 Write yourself a love letter.
Let it flow. Apologise. Forgive. Wrap yourself in unconditional love.
Gently Rewire the Subconscious
Healing isn’t linear. The first step (feeling and releasing) and the second (rewiring) will likely ebb and flow. When you're ready, here are some gentle tools to begin shifting your beliefs:
Subliminal Audios
We’ve created several House of Divine subliminal tracks that work beneath the conscious mind while you go about your day or drift into sleep. If they feel aligned, feel free to explore the ones we’ve linked here. Tip: Drink lots of water, Use when you are doing automatic/low focus task (cleaning, skincare, winding down for bed) & listen for at least one month to really shift your belief system.
Money Mindset, Divine Feminine, Divine Masculine, Love & Romance
EFT (Tapping)
Tapping can help soothe your nervous system while guiding your mind into new beliefs. Start with how you actually feel, then gently introduce new truths. (P.S. ChatGPT is brilliant for helping you create personalised tapping scripts!)
Somatic Tools for Daily Support
When those old beliefs creep in during the day, anchor yourself back into presence. Our Divine Feminine + Divine Masculine essential oil blends are designed to support those moments—whether you need grounding, clarity, or a gentle nudge of love. Healing is a sacred unfolding.
There’s no rush. No finish line. Only deeper layers of love waiting to meet you.

You are not behind. You are returning to who you’ve always been.
Your Divine Self.
