When Creativity Feels Blocked After a Big Leap

Taking a leap of faith into your Divine path is exhilarating. It’s a rush of energy — a mix of passion, adrenaline, and possibility. But what often isn’t spoken about is the lull that can follow.
When the dust settles after a big change, the body and mind can suddenly feel heavy. The adrenaline fades. The emotions you’ve tucked away resurface. And instead of riding an endless wave of inspiration, you may find yourself… blocked.
I recently experienced this. After making the decision to fully commit to myself and my work, I felt unstoppable at first. I went into action mode, pushing forward, handling the changes, and moving with determination. But once that wave passed, I noticed the exhaustion, the emotions, and the silence underneath it all.
And in that silence, I slipped into self-sabotage.
Little celebrations turned into too many drinks. Distractions in the outside world felt easier to focus on than my own creativity. The masculine “push” energy had carried me through the leap, but when I tried to soften back into my feminine flow, I felt… stuck.
That’s the part nobody tells you: after the leap, there’s integration. And integration isn’t always glamorous.
What Helped Me Move Through It
Instead of forcing myself to “be productive,” I chose to soften. Creativity can’t be pushed — it blooms when it’s nurtured. So, I turned toward practices that supported me without pressure:
✨ Subliminal affirmations – to gently reprogram my mindset while I rested.
✨ Meditation – even if I fell asleep or my thoughts raced, I showed up anyway.
✨ Ho’oponopono – looking into the mirror, repeating “I love you, I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you.”
✨ EFT tapping – releasing the nervous system tension that was keeping me in fight-or-flight.
✨ Decluttering + cleaning – clearing my space to help clear my energy.
✨ Cooking – reconnecting with creativity in a grounded, nourishing way.
And when I finally felt ready, I took one small step back into my art: editing a video for my YouTube channel, Divine Livi.
Small steps matter.
The Dance of Energies
This experience reminded me that creativity is feminine in nature — it flows, it nurtures, it blooms when it feels safe. The masculine isn’t here to force it into being. The masculine provides the container, the structure, the safety. Together, they create balance.
Sometimes, we use those energies destructively — pushing too hard or numbing ourselves with distractions. But when we use them to nurture, they bring us back to our Divine path.
So, if you’re moving slowly right now, know that’s okay. Authenticity will always hold more power than forced content. The flow always returns.
And here I am, writing this blog. It might not be perfect, but it’s real. And that’s enough.
Thank you for being here with me. 🌹
